Charge your phone or laptop at lightning speed!
This was the superstar of the trip! It opens like a suitcase and has a separate laptop compartment. It also comes with a waterproof cover which came in handy when we had to walk home in the rain.
Costa Rica and Panama didn't require electrical adapters, but I was glad I had it with me as an extra charging block. I'll definitely use it in Europe!
Perfect for long flights, folds neatly in to holding case, and prevents your head from falling forward.
I typically use packing cubes, but these compression bags are pretty amazing space savers, especially when you're only packing a carry on.

On Women's Cloudvista 2 Waterproof Sneaker
These were perfect for trekking through the muddy forest trails, so comfortable, and waterproof without being too heavy.
This foldable fedora was perfect for the beach, hiking, and stayed on during windy boat rides. It's easy to fold and pack and keeps its shape beautifully.
The midday sun can be very strong. A loose long sleeve shirt with added sun protection is an essential piece of your travel wardrobe.
Confession- I didn't have these on my trip and I wished I had several times. We went on hikes that ended at the beach and it would've been nice to have a sandal on as opposed to socks and trainers. I never appreciated good arch support when my dad was droning on and on about it. Turns out he knew what he was talking about.
This hip pack was the perfect size to carry my phone, chapstick, card case, and hand sanitizer. It's also cute enough to wear on nights out.
Getting ready for a hiking trip in Costa Rica can feel like a lot. The trick to having a great experience comes down to packing wisely. From reliable footwear to proper sun protection, being prepared can turn your adventure into a memorable experience.
I hope this helps you prepare for a wonderful adventure!
